What should be Priority in Our Life
The selection of priority in our life depends upon two things. The first one is the identification of tasks required in our life. While the second one is the weightage of every task. Let in our life, we have a number of tasks which are as follows:
- Pray to our GOD.
- Do some exercise to maintain our health.
- Spend some time with our family members.
- Follow our passion.
- Meet our friends.
- Do our job.
- Buy a good house.
- Buy a comfortable car.
- Use social media.
- Watch some movies.
We will understand the priority in our life with an example of a Golf Ball (Higher weightage), Pebbles or Glass balls (Medium weightage), and Sand (Lower weightage). Suppose, we want to put these three things into an empty Jar (Our Life) then we have to put a Golf ball first, pebbles or small glass balls second, and sand third. In this order, all three things will fit in the jar easily. Any change in the process will make it difficult to fit in the jar. In a similar way, we have to put weightage to our task and start with higher weight and end with lower weightage.
- Higher Weightage: Pray to our God, Do some exercise to maintain our health, Spend some time with our family members, Follow our passion, and Meet our friends.
- Medium Weightage: Do a job, Buy a good house, and Buy a comfortable car.
- Lower Weightage: Use social media, and Watch some movies.
The categorization of the tasks required in our life based on their weightage is shown in the following figure.
